Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for more than forty years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage artist in a few Broadway productions before gaining to national prominence with Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became an enormous success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she signed to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic rather than her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
