Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she is a coach for athletes. Annie is first woman who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. She finished second both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media celebrity. She has gained fame for being the only woman to ever win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. Being an avid sportsman and working out enthusiast from a young age she participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in the year 2009. She did well during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 in 2021. Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie began with her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. She had a good performance at her very first games. She was among the top 10 in 70 athletes. Although she didn't achieve any championships and finished the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit competitions and due to her dominant performance she won the competition becoming the first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an impressive performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to win the two CrossFit Games. Silver medals were awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has led her to become the model for a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie", with over 1000 followers. It is the channel where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
