Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid's mom is Chinese and was raised within Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn hails from the American South. Olivia was only 2 when her parents divorced. Her family consisted of her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was also a United States Air Force member. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and resided in many areas, she was brought up within Tokyo, Japan. During that time she took part in numerous performances of the local theater, as well as becoming a Japanese fashion model. Olivia relocated into Los Angeles when her family had moved back in her home in the United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. She began her acting career by playing a minor role. Her career then took off when she was cast as Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's receptionist. She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" as well as "The Daily Nut". She enjoys surfing, and has been practising since she saw the TV show Beyond the Break (2006). Black belts are hers in taekwondo. In the age of two, her mother remarried. The second time, she got married to a US Air Force serviceman. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. She attended her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
